Book Reviews by Paul P. Karos
Paul of Tarsus is a tremendous theological and practical book about the life of St. Paul. The reader is taken through the amazing journey of his life and teachings.
What makes this book so special is that it is written by a Syrian Christian who actually grew up where Paul journeyed in Damascus and other areas of the Middle East. The author knows what it is like to grow up with hostile forces toward Christians; allowing the author to relate to the suffering Paul experienced simply because he followed Christ.
The book helps the reader empathize with the suffering and resiliency Paul experienced during his Apostolic mission. The books strong scriptural references helps paint a complete story of how Paul’s life became completely focused on his mission to spread the Gospel.
I would highly recommend this book for either casual readers, or even those who enjoy some strong theology.

Book Review by Thomas Rudquist
The author’s portrayal of the Apostle Paul brings the saint to life.
His narration shows both Paul’s struggles and his humanity.
The book makes Paul real and adds information that was not widely known outside the biblical scholarship community.
Paul of Tarsus comes from years of research and is a must read for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the life and times of the great Apostle to the gentiles.

Paul: A Life of Suffering and Love
Apostle. Martyr. Scholar. Man.
From the dusty roads of Tarsus to the prison cells of Rome, Paul: A Life of Suffering and Love follows the spiritual and emotional evolution of one of Christianity’s most complex figures. The first half offers a vivid, fictionalized narrative of Paul’s early years—his conflicted Jewish upbringing, fierce convictions, and ultimate transformation from persecutor to apostle.
The second half transitions into a scholarly exploration of Paul’s teachings on suffering, grace, and divine love. Through an analysis of his letters and missions, the book offers readers a deeper understanding of how pain and redemption intertwined in both his life and message.
Whether you’re a seeker of faith, a lover of history, or a student of theology, this book invites you to walk alongside a man whose legacy still echoes through scripture and the human heart.
